This past summer Kendall spent four weeks in Oxford, England studying acting and Shakespeare through the British American Drama Academy (BADA) program, Midsummer in Oxford, in association with the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.

Kendall played Esme Williams in the world premiere of For the People at the Guthrie Theater.

Written by Ty Defoe and Larissa FastHorse, and directed by Michael John Garcés, the production made history as the first fully produced play by Indigenous artists in the Guthrie's 60+ year history. For the People was recognized as an important contribution to the legacy of Minnesota by Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and a proclamation declared November 12, 2023 as For the People Day in Minnesota.
